PopupNinja only works in Safari after the extension is on and allowed for that website. Opening the app alone does not change pages.

Choose websites in the app

1. Open PopupNinja and search for a site in the catalog.
2. Add the overlay catalog you want. Nothing is enabled until you add it.
3. Tap Load latest rules so the extension downloads rules only for those sites.

Turn the extension on

1. Open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions.
2. Turn on PopupNinja.

Allow it on a website

1. In Safari, open the page that shows a blocking overlay.
2. Tap the extensions button in the address bar (puzzle piece), or tap aA and choose PopupNinja.
3. Set permission to Allow for this website.
4. Reload. The overlay should be gone so the page can scroll.

Update overlay rules

In the app, tap Load latest rules. Or open the extension popup in Safari and tap Check for Rule Updates. Updates download JSON only for the websites you enabled. If the download fails, bundled rules for those sites stay available.

If nothing changes

• Confirm you are in Safari, not Chrome, in-app browsers, or the PopupNinja host app.
• Set permission to Allow, not “Ask” or “Deny”.
• Hard-reload the page after allowing the extension.
• Some overlays are ordinary pop-up windows. Those are Safari’s job, not PopupNinja’s. This extension is for in-page sheets drawn with JavaScript.
